New small modern bar that is part of the Pure Leisure chain and the sister to The Bank, Switch and The Loft. The bar is set out on two levels with the main bar on the ground floor and an internet area upstairs with plasma screens. It has an impressive glass frontage which makes the bar bright and airy by day. The decor and fixtures are of a modern style with a sleek tiled floor. There is a small bar located to the rear with a grand piano housed on a small stage. The lighting is more subdued in the evening with smart lighting above the bar. Regular music is on play at most times with live entertainment featured on most nights. The DJ booth is also located to the rear of the bar.
Live entertainment starts from 8pm with on a Monday - live singers, percussionists, comedians, Tuesday - chill, relax and unwind, Wednesday - resident pianist, Thursday - DJ all night with live entertainment from 9.30pm, Friday - happy houe anthems with DJ Carl and live musicians, Saturday - house and retro 80's with resident DJ Tony Mac, Sunday - live musicians and entertainers with DJ Tony Mac serving up fresh and old skool rnb hits. The bar attracts a mainly gay clientele and is fast becoming a meeting place for club goers heading to Digital. It should be busy on most nights with the varied entertainment on offer and is certain to be busy on the weekend. There are 6 free internet terminals on the upper level available all day and every day.
Disabled access is very good with a designated disabled toilet at the rear. Toilets are small and clean.
