Review:
Large stylish bar
that was formerly known as Hooties. The bar has
several rooms of a different style that are decked
out in the theme of an Apartment.
There is a Gallery
Room with artwork from local, national and
international artists, a Dining Room restaurant
serving a varied range of dishes, a Bedroom with
luxurious deep seating, a Living room and a Front
room that is an exclusive cocktails and members
lounge.
All areas are decorated to a modern design
and are available for free of charge for any private
function or party after work. The Bedroom can
accommodate up to 150 persons. Privilege membership
is free of charge and the exclusive Front room
membership is £200 a year. An application form can
be obtained in the bar or by asking a member of
staff.
The bar has large glass windows to the front that create a bright
and airy feel to the place. There is a long bar
with a stone floor and brickwork pillars to the centre of
the bar. Regular music on play at most times with
a DJ every night. There is also a small stage
located opposite to the bar. The lighting system
is stylish throughout with large ball type
chandeliers and low drop down lighting. There is
plenty of comfortable seating throughout in all of
the different theme rooms. A drop down screen and TV is located in certain areas. The bar attracts an
upmarket clientele and is very busy on most nights
when there is often a queue forming outside. VIP's and footallers are also known to frequent the bar.
During the day there is a more relaxed atmosphere
with steady clientele of business people. The bar
is air conditioned.
Disabled access to the
bar is excellent with stair lifts to access
certain areas. Toilets are small and clean.
