Large bar from the same owners of Mr Lynch located nearby.
The bar is advertised as Jesmond's first Gastro Pub & Terrace.
 It has 3 floors with the Mezanine bar upstairs for
private dining. The main bar and terrace is accessed from the main entrance on the ground floor.
The outside terrace area is located to the rear.
Downstairs is the Frangipani function room that can cater for parties of up to 300 people,
whether it be christmas parties, corporate events or wedding receptions.
The main bar area contains a long bar with comfortable lounge seating opposite and plenty of seating elsewhere for diners.
There is waiter service for those prepared to wait or you can order drinks at the bar. The bar is very stylish with a nice
mix of designs and large low drop down lighting throughout. It attracts a steady crowd of people at most times of the day and is popular with the businesses nearby and students.
It is noticeable that there is no TV's
throughout as the emphasis is on making the atmosphere comfortable and relaxing in which to enjoy a drink or meal.
A strange quirk is that the bar will even sell you the chair you are sitting on as there is a range of antiques dotted about.
Regular music is on play with a small stage located to the rear of the bar.
The 'Supper Club' is on at the weekend where you can enjoy Live Blues, Soul, Swing or Jazz.
There is no DJ and no dance floor. The bar is Children friendly.
Disabled Access is good to the main bar. Toilets are small and clean.
