Medium
sized bar that is a popular venue in the Gate.The
bar that was formerly known as M.A Potters
restaurant has recently been refurbished and given a more stylish look. It has a much brighter feel with cream and brown colours and large cylindrical lighting throughout.
From the main entrance there is a horseshoe bar directly
facing and a small with seating all around the bar.
There is plenty of seating throughout for diners. The bar also
has ample standing space. A small DJ booth is located to the left of the main entrance.
Regular music with a DJ on play on most nights. There are several TV's located throughout.
Live sports are shown with Live premiership football featured. Match day specials are available with reductions
on food and drink. The bar attracts a mixed crowd of people visiting
the other Gate bars and cinema. It can be
busy at most times especially in the evening, with
The Gate having several late licence bars close together. There is a small outside seating area on the Gate concourse.
Disabled access
is very good with a designated disabled toilet at
the rear. Toilets are small and clean.

Beers on tap include Tetleys Extra Cold, San Miguel, Tuborg, Carlsberg Cold Export,
Carlsberg and Guinness. Strongbow and Woodpecker cider also on offer. An excellent selection of bottled drinks,
wines, cocktails, shooters, champagnes and spirits also available.

served Monday - Saturday 11am - 7pm, Sunday noon -7pm. Meals include starters and light bites £2.50 - £5.50,
Bannatynes favourites £5.00 - £8.95, sandwiches £3.75 - £4.75, soup of the day £3.00 or sides £1.25 - £2.50. Sweets £3.50.
Hot beverages are also available £1.10 - £3.50. Bannatynes Brunch is served until 12pm daily with full English breakfast £5.50.
