Long narrow bar that was
formerly named Bewicks, Cage Bar and more recently Fizz.
The bar has
recently had a smart new upgrade with another change of name. It is decked out in a modern style with a bar and wooden
floor. The decor is smart
throughout with drop down cylindrical lighting fixtures and
spotlighting to the ceiling. There are some old
pictures adorning the walls.
The bar has plenty of
standing room with the seating comprising of high stools along the walls and bar and some tables and chairs.
There is a regular music on play with a
DJ on most nights located in an area at the front of the bar.
Live sports are shown on two widescreen TV's located at the front and centre of the bar.
The bar
usually gets busy later in the evening as it is only
open from about 5pm onwards. It attracts mainly a
younger crowd of partygoers and people on a night
out. A lively pub with dark subdued lighting and a
good atmosphere later on in the evening.
Disabled access to main bar is very good. Toilets are small and
clean.
Price:
Moderate.
