Review:
Small modern bar that
is smartly decked out and has a elegant glass
entrance. This leads through to a long narrow room
with the bar on the right hand side. There is plenty
of seating throughout with modern tables and chairs
running the length of the bar and leather high
backed seating against the wall. There is also high
chairs with shelving to one side. The decor is
primarily a mixture of red and cream pastel colours
with a mosaic design on the walls and pillars.
The bar is
fully carpeted throughout and the mirrors on the
walls give a more expansive feel to the place. To
the front there is a small raised area that has more
comfortable seating. There are 3 TV's on show to the
front, centre and rear of the bar with all live
football featured Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Several games machines are dotted about.
Outside
there is a large seating area with several tables
and chairs, canopies and heated lamps. The bar is very popular
at the weekend with the young crowd and students,
when the outside area is usually packed. It is
noticeably quieter through the week. Disabled access
is very good with the bar all on the one level.
Toilets are small and clean. Free internet access is
advertised as being available in the near future.
