Small Basement bar that has opened downstairs to Charles Grey. This is due to the relocation
of Dobson's following the closure of the City Library.  The door policy is only to allow Students so don't see this bar lasting very long. Tried to gain access twice but told by doorman to go upstairs to Charles Grey. A disappointing start for this new bar and not the Dobson's of old. Should be renamed Students Trebles Bar and once the Students' money runs out I expect the bar will have a re-think of their poilcy.
Apparently there is a party night 7 nights a week with the biggest Student night in Newcastle ????. The original Dobson's DJ's are rumoured to be playing a mix of student anthems, chart, indie and rock.
Overall a big let down and things can only improve once the Freshers
Disabled access is
difficult as down a flight of stairs.
