Review:
Large pub situated two miles from the centre of Newcastle in South Gosforth. This traditional Newcastle pub has a good range of cask ales on offer and is a very popular venue for Live Sports. The pub has 3 entrances to the front, side and rear and is open plan with a long bar and a big screen at either end.
There is plenty of seating throughout the pub for diners with a reasonably priced menu on offer.
The decor and fixtures is of a traditional style with low drop down lighting over the bar.
The pub attracts a steady crowd of locals and regulars. It is also a popular hangout for students.
The pub is busy at most times of the day, especially with students when there are live music events.
Live Music is held in the pub on a Tuesday, Friday and Saturday with regular music on play in the bar.
