Restaurant Italia bar and grill that was formerly Casa and more recently Tavistock.
The bar has a stylish look and feel with main emphasis of providing meals which can be enjoyed in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.

From the main entrance the bar is directly opposite with a part wooden and carpeted floor. There is plenty of seating throughout with high tables and chairs to the front overlooking the Swing Bridge. At the top end of the bar there is a more comfortable seating area with low tables and chairs and leather backed seating. A piano is located on a small stage in this area that was previously owned by Jools Holland.

The decor throughout is modeern and stylish with large cylindrical lighting and lampshades on the bar. The large windows to the front give a bright and airy feel to the place. The restaurant is at the rear of the bar with views overlooking the Tyne.

The bar attracts a crowd on most nights due to its position on the Quayside but is a little quieter during the day. Regular music is on play at most times. No TV's to be seen anywhere.

Disabled access is good. Toilets are smart and clean.

Food served includes starters from £4.25 - £7.50, mains £9.45 - £14.95, grills £10.45 - £17.95, hot and cold crustecea (small plates £5.45 - £14.95, large plates £10.90 - £29.50), seafood platters (small £24.95, large £49.50), side orders £2.50. Desserts are also available £4.25 - £5.95. Food is also served in the bar area with a menu consisting of light snacks & sandwiches, meals from the seafood counter and sandwiches £4.95 - £6.50.
