A medium sized pub that was
formerly known as Heroes. The pub has been given an
extensive makeover and now has a more upmarket look.
The exterior is a nice mahogany colour and inside
the decor is of a modern style. There is a long bar
with a wooden floor and plenty of seating
throughout.
To the rear there is a small raised area
 that has additional tables and chairs. The walls are
a mixture of yellow and orange pastel colours and are adorned with
eclipse pictures. Regular music is on play at most
times.
Monday is ultimate student party night with selected drinks £1 and karaoke. Wednesday is live cabaret night. Thursday is singles night with special reductions on all drinks. There are several widescreen plasma TV's on
show with live football shown. The pub attracts a
steady clientele of locals and students. The new
look should attract new customers and I expect it to
be busy on a weekend.
Disabled access very good with a
designated toilet to the rear. Toilets are small and
clean
