Review:
Medium sized bar that
was formerly known as Wilders.The pub
has a
stylish and upmarket feel and is a popular venue in the City Centre. The bar is located
to the right of the main entrance.
There is also an
entrance at the rear of the bar with a car park.
There
is plenty of seating throughout as well as ample
standing space. There are comfortable booths located
at the rear with a mixture of high table and chairs
and low seating with some settees. The main bar area
leads through to an area at the side that has
further seating.
The
decor is a mix of maroon and cream pastel colours
and there is a part tiled/wooden floor. The subdued
lighting also gives the bar a more cosy feel with
smart lighting fixtures. Regular music is on play
with a DJ featured on certain nights. The DJ booth
is located in a corner to the rear of the bar.
A huge
screen has been built into the wall at one side and
there are further widescreen TV's dotted about
showing music videos. There is an outside seating
terrace at the rear of the pub that is used in fine
weather. The bar attracts a mixed
clientele of business people, students and
partygoers at the weekend.
Disabled access is very good with the bar all on the
one level and a designated disabled toilet at the
rear. Toilets are small and clean.
