Review:

Very modern medium sized pub previously known as The Newcastle Arms and more recently The Muse Bar. The pub has an L shaped metallic bar with inlaid portholes and suspended lantern style drop down lighting over it. There is modern comfortable leather backed seating throughout with swivel chairs, and some mushroom style tables and chairs to the centre of the bar.

The decor is a mixture of pastel maroon and stone colours with chrome fixtures. Mirrors cover the ceiling which also has smart changeable spotlighting. The bar is bright and airy during the day with large windows to the front. At the rear there is a more comfortable seating area with high backed leather seating and an unusual array of circular mirrors on the walls.

Regular music is on play at most times. A DJ is a feature on Monday nights as well as the weekend with a booth located to the left of the main entrance. A large screen is superimposed at the rear of the pub that features all live sport including football and six nations rugby. There is also several TV's throughout the pub with a bank of TV's over the bar. Free hire of the bar for private parties can be arranged from Sunday - Wednesday. Q - jumpers available for Sea Night club. Cash back available.

Disabled access is very good with the pub all on the one level. Toilets are small and clean.

Price:
Moderate.
