Very modern medium
sized pub previously known as The Newcastle Arms and more
recently The Muse Bar.
The pub has an L shaped metallic bar
with inlaid portholes and suspended lantern style
drop down lighting over it. There is modern
comfortable leather backed seating throughout with
swivel chairs, and some mushroom style tables and
chairs to the centre of the bar.
The decor is a mixture of pastel
maroon and stone colours with chrome fixtures.
Mirrors cover the ceiling which also has smart
changeable spotlighting. The bar is bright and
airy during the day with large windows to the
front. At the rear there is a more comfortable
seating area with high backed leather
seating and an unusual array of circular mirrors on the
walls.
Regular music is on play at most times. A DJ is a feature on Monday
nights as well as the weekend with a booth located
to the left of the main entrance. A large screen
is superimposed at the rear of the pub that
features all live sport including football and six
nations rugby. There is also several TV's
throughout the pub with a bank of TV's over the
bar. Free hire of the bar for private parties can
be arranged from Sunday - Wednesday. Q - jumpers

Disabled access
is very good with the pub all on the one level.
Toilets are small and clean.
