Review:
Hoochie Coochie is a new live entertainment bar
that was formerly One Eyed Jacks Mexican Restaurant and more recently Blue Coyote.
The bar has undergone a full makeover with a change in emphasis to providing drinks with live entertainment.
A small staircase leads to two large
glass doors at the main entrance.
There is plenty of seating with a bar area to the
front that has lounge seating and high stools. There is a limited number of booths available, with the best vantage point and table service, bookable at a small premium.
At Hoochie Coochie you will see some top Soul, Funk & Jazz artists
What's On - Thursdays - live modern Jazz most nights & tunes that are Jazz/Funk influenced, free entry after 10.30pm.
Fridays - will rarely feature live music. Open from 3pm. Funkiness will be the order of the day on Fridays, with badass funk from the 70's to the present day. Free entry on a Friday.
Saturday - Party nights with live artists and classic tunes that make you hit the floor. Also on play - Black music, funk, boogie, disco and soul.
Sunday - Soul, with tunes from the 70's onwards, Modern, a touch of Northern, soulful house. Some great live artists coming up on Sundays, free entry after 10.30.

Disabled access may
be difficult as there is a small staircase to
negotiate however the bar has its own disabled
toilet. Toilets are small and clean.
