Review:
A new Parisian style bar restaurant that should become a popular
alternative in this ever expanding area. The bar is
very modern however it has has retained many of its old
features. A smart red coloured staircase leads down
to the main entrance which is accentuated by a
glazed portico. The decor is a mixture of plum
and
cream pastel colours with the original tiled ceiling
a notable feature. The pub has 2 bars with
a long bar in the main bar area and a smaller bar to the right of the main entrance.
There is plenty of seating throughout
with metallic tables and chairs and some seating
around the windows. The large windows to the front
and side make the bar bright and airy and there is smart chandelier lighting
fixtures that create a more relaxed atmosphere in
the evening. Regular music is on play at most times.
There is a raised area to the right of the main
entrance that houses the DJ and where there is also
a sizeable dance floor. Live music is also featured
on selected days.
Two
widescreen TV's are
located at either end of the bar and there are some
games machines on display. Live Sports are shown
with all live football. The pub attracts a mixed
clientele of business people, partygoers and those on
there way to and from the station. Fully
air conditioned with large tubular piping that is
fixed to the ceiling. There is a small outside
seating area that is used in fine weather. The bar is available for private hire.
Disabled
access is excellent with a ramp at
the side of the building. The bar has a
designated disabled toilet to the right of the bar.
Toilets are smart and clean.
