Large very smart
modern bar set out over 2 floors, that is part of the Ultimate Leisure
Group.
The pub has recently been extended and has been given a superb makeover,
making it one of the largest bars on the Quayside.
The bar is advertised in the window as opulence, seduction, glamour.
There is plenty of seating throughout with
with booth areas to the front and rear and more comfortable leather settees. There is also a large
floor space for standing in the centre of the pub. The
furnishings and décor are modern and very stylish with
modern changeable spotlighting throughout. The decor is a mix of brown and maroon colours.
There is smart drop down lighting overe the bar and the bar hasmainly a wooden floor.
There are two large widescreen TV's at either end of the bar. Stairs at the centre of the bar lead to the upper level.
This area has a further small bar and more seating.
Attracts an upmarket
clientele and quayside revellers. Has been known to
also attract celebrities and Newcastle footballers. Very busy
at weekends and during the week. The bar is
available for hire - ask at the bar. Big student night on a Wednesday - all drinks £2. Regular music
is on play with a DJ playing smooth grooves every night. The DJ booth is located to the right hand side of the main entrance.
Tuesday is night is RnB hip hop night.
Disabled access
to main bar is very good but difficult to toilets as
they are upstairs. Toilets are smart and clean.
