Traditional Newcastle pub that was formerly known as The Adelphi.

From the main entrance there is a u shaped bar with down lighting.

The bar has been given a full makeover with the Newcastle memorabilia removed and replaced with a more modern style.

The decor is a mix of dark green colours and wood panelling with a wooden floor.

There is plenty of seating throughout with tables and chairs and high stools by the bar.

The bar is frequented mainly by the business people, shoppers, locals, theatregoers and on occasion the performers from the Theatre Royal across the road.

Regular music is on play at most times with a a DJ a regular feature on the weekend. Live music and Comedy events are held on certain nights.

Large outside seating area to the front of the pub that is heated and fully covered.

Disabled access very good to main bar. The toilets are small and reasonable.

Price: Moderate.
