Very modern large
glass fronted corner pub. Ultra modern designer
furnishings with superb low drop down lighting
fixtures. The pub has a long bar with stairs leading
down to a massive bar area which is open at
weekends. There is plenty
of seating with a large area running the length of
the window on one side. These tables have
there own TV's with several channels. There is
additional seating of high stainless steel chairs to
the centre of the bar.
The glass windows to the
front and side give a bright and airy feel in the
daytime and there is also a nice view of the Central
Station. A Metro station is conveniently located
just outside. Live sports are shown including all
live football with 3 widescreen TV's also located
over the bar area.
The pub attracts the executive
type and rail commuters throughout the week and is
very busy with a younger crowd at the weekend when
queues often form outside. Can be a little quieter
early on in the week. There is a relaxed and
comfortable feel to the pub at most times. A large
heated outside seating area is open weather
permitting. The pub turns in to a night club at 10pm
with a dance floor downstairs. Regular music on play
at most times with a DJ a regular feature.
The bar has air conditioning with ceiling fans.
Disabled access good to main bar but difficult to
toilets which are down a flight of stairs. Toilets
are very smart and clean.
