A small bar that is a
welcome addition to the increasingly
popular
Central Station area. A small flight of steps
outside lead to a modern style bar. There is plenty
of leather backed seating throughout with an
enclosed U shaped bar in the centre.
The large
windows to the front give a bright and airy feel by
day. In the evening the smart drop down lighting and
the revolving cylindrical
globe effects create a
more relaxed atmosphere. The bar has a tiled floor
throughout and the decor is of a modern style. There
is a selection of x rated film posters on the walls.
Regular music is on play at most times. A DJ is a
regular feature on every night playing a mixture of
jazz, hip hop, reggae. The DJ booth is located at
the rear of the bar.
The bar
attracts a mixed clientele of students, business
people and those on there way to and from the
station. It has become a popular addition to the
station scene now that it is firmly established. A
small outside seating area is used when there is
fine weather.
Disabled access can be difficult with a flight of
steps to negotiate. The toilets are small
and clean.
Price:
Moderate.
