Review:

Large traditional corner pub that was formerly known as Ye Olde Jockey. The pub has two entrances to the front and side with a long rectangular bar. There is plenty of seating throughout with high tables and chairs and low seating.

Regular music is on play with a juke box situated next to the bar. A Karaoke night is held every Sunday with cash prizes on offer. Live Sports are shown with Football & Racing shown on a big screen and widescreen TV's througout the bar. A pool table and darts board is located to one side of the bar. There is a no smoking area and cash Machine located in bar.

The pub is popular at most times of the day and attracts mainly a student crowd, locals and Gosforth revellers.

Disabled access to the main bar is very good with a designated disabled toilet. Toilets are small and clean.

Price: Moderate.
