Rock music theme pub
on two floors, with Newcastle United football memorabilia on walls.
The main bar downstairs has high backed leather
seating to the front and side of the bar and there
is additional high stools near to the bar. There are
also unusual ball type lights over the bar and a
linoleum floor.
At the rear of the
pub there is a raised area with a pool table. Pool
competitions are advertised on certain nights. The
function room upstairs has its own small bar and
is available for hire free for parties, weddings and
birthdays Sunday to Friday - Telephone 0191 2221412. Big screen TV Sports shown with all live
football and six nations rugby featured. Regular
rock music on play with several juke boxes to the
front and rear of the pub. Retro night every Friday with DJ Big Jim from 7pm (60's - 80's music).
 The pub is a favourite
haunt for locals and rock music lovers as well as
football supporters on match days. DJ is a regular
feature on Friday and Saturday nights. Cash back
facility available. No children are allowed in
the bar.
Disabled access to
main bar is good but difficult to toilets which
are upstairs. Toilets are small and clean.
