Large cafe bar that is popular venue on the
Quayside scene being inside the Baltic Arts Centre. The Cafe changes in to a bar from 7pm
every evening.
The small bar is adjacent to the
front of the Baltic Mill. There is plenty of seating
with metallic tables and chairs. The bar also has an
outside seating area with pleasant views of the
River Tyne and Gateshead Millennium Bridge. The
decor is of a modern design with a grey stone tiled
floor. There are huge glass windows that separate
the bar from the outer area.
The interior has a cafe
type appearance during the day with tourists and
visitors to the Baltic. In the evening it changes
somewhat with a steady crowd of business people as
well as visitors. The bar is a pleasant place to
people watch and is very popular at the weekend.
Disabled access to main
bar is very good. Toilets are small and clean.
