Medium sized traditional pub with
a long narrow bar.  The main bar has
plenty of seating however the decor is basic and could do with some updating.
There is a large bay window to the front and bright
lighting above the bar. All major sporting events are shown
on a big screen at rear of pub and there are several
games machines dotted about.
Predominantly a local
clientele during the week but attracts an overspill
of Bigg Market revellers at the weekend. Is
noticeably much quieter through the week. Regular
music on play. Music bar upstairs is usually open at
the weekend and can also be hired as a function
room. Monday is Rock night in the upstairs room
from 7.30pm. Quiz night on a Tuesday from 9pm. Disco
on a Friday and Saturday from 8pm. Karaoke held on
certain nights.
Disabled access very good. Toilets
small and basic.
Price:
Reasonable.
