Large bar
that was previously known as Baron & Baroness.
The bar described as an all New Cabaret, Entertainment & Late Night Venue has been given a full refurbishment and is decked out to a high standard. The
windows at the front
give a bright and airy feel to the place.
The pub
has a small bar upstairs and downstairs with a part
tiled and wooden floor. There is
plenty of seating throughout the bar with tables and chairs. A staircase at either end
of the bar leads to the upper level where there is
extra seating in more cosy intimate areas. To the
left of the main entrance an archway leads through
to a raised area where there is more comfortable
seating. The low drop down lighting and large
chandelier style lighting create a
nice cosy atmosphere in the evening.
Regular music
is on play at most times with a juke box located
near to the entrance. There is a large outside seating area
on Times Square with wooden tables and chairs. The pub attracts a mixed
clientele of gay and straight and
those attending the other bars in the
Centre for Life. With the bar now featuring live cabaret entertainment from Rusty and a show-stopping set from Nicki Frenchit it should become a firm favourite in the
Gay Village/ Pink Triangle area.
Disabled access very good to the
main bar with a designated toilet at the rear.
Toilets are very smart and clean.
Price:
Moderate.
