Review:

Wine bar previously known as Montpellier's that has recently reverted back to it's former name The Earl Grey. The bar is situated on the main road in the centre of Gosforth. The bar can be accessed from two entrances to the front and side. There is a long bar located to the left of the main entrance. There is plenty of seating throughout for diners with a raised area to the front of the pub. The lighting in the evening is dark and subdued throughout.

A quiz night is a regular feature on a Tuesday from 8.30pm - 10.40pm with a cash jackpot on offer. The bar attracts a mix clientele of locals, students and business people. It should attract more interest when the bar becomes more widely known with it's extensive range of wines on offer.

Disabled access to the main bar is very good with a designated disabled toilet to the rear. Toilets are small and clean.

Price: Moderate.
