Review:

Traditional style pub that is situated on the main road through Gosforth. The pub can be accessed from two entrances to the front and side. The bar is located to the left of the main entrance. There is plenty of seating throughout for diners with a raised area to the front of the pub. The lighting is dark and subdued throughout.

A quiz night is a regular feature on a Tuesday from 8.30pm - 10.40pm with a cash jackpot on offer. The bar attracts a mix of locals and students.

Disabled access to the main bar is very good with a designated disabled toilet to the rear. Toilets are small and clean.

Price: Reasonable.
