Review:

Large New West Coast Bar & Grill that was formerly Old Orleans. The pub has 2 floors, a long bar with a part tiled and wooden floor, and there is ample seating throughout. To the right hand side of the main entrance there are some low tables and chairs. The front of the pub has doors that open out in the summer giving the place a pleasant and cool atmosphere. To the left hand side of the bar there is a large area with more comfortable leather backed seating. This leads to a small raised area with further seating to the front. There is a long winding staircase near the main entrance that leads to the restaurant upstairs.

The pub is decorated in a West Coast style with American memorabilia adorning the stairs, walls and ceiling. Look out for the Surf board on the stairs. The low drop down lighting with smart flickering lights give an inviting and cosy atmosphere. The pub is air conditioned throughout with large ceiling fans. The restaurant upstairs also has ample seating and there is a small bar. The pub is mainly used by locals, diners and business people. It can get very busy at most times due to its proximity being near to the Haymarket metro station. It is also very popular with the young crowd Thursday to Saturday due to the cocktails on offer.

Regular music on play at most times. There are several Plasma Screens throughout the bar with Live sports shown including live football with Sky and ESPN matches featured. There are several games machines dotted about the pub with a table football machine to the left of the bar.

Disabled access is excellent with a lift next to the ladies toilet for customers to get to and from the restaurant. Toilets are small and clean.

Price: Moderate.
