Medium sized JD Wetherspoon's Lloyds no1 bar in the expanding Gate complex. The bar has a glass fronted exterior that leads into a medium sized modern style bar. The lighting is dark and kept to a low level to give a warm and inviting feel to the place. The decor is of a modern design with modern fitments throughout and a part carpeted and tiled floor. There is pipework interlaced on the ceiling with rectangular changeable lighting. There are also two large cylindrical balls near to the main entrance.

The bar has an abundance of seating throughout with the emphasis on providing meals. There is a family area to the rear and the left hand side is used as a dance floor later in the evening. This now has seating during the day.

Regular music is on play at most times with a DJ booth opposite to the bar. There are 6 plasma screens that feature live premiership football and six nations rugby, with music videos shown at other times. There is further seating outside that spills onto the main Gate thoroughfare. The bar attracts a steady clientele of business people, shoppers and those visiting the Gate complex and Odeon cinema. It has added to the growing popularity of the Gate and is very busy at most times with the various promotions on offer.

Disabled access is very good with a designated disabled toilet at the rear on the ground floor. Children allowed with a family area located at the rear - food orders for children until 6pm. Toilets are upstairs and are in good order.
