Cocktail bar on Pink Lane that is described as a unique bar experience being funky, quirky and full of surprises.
There is plenty of seating throughout with tables and chairs. Formerly a vegan cafe 'Junk It Up' the place is decked out like a home with a twist, featuring quirky seating areas inspired by the different rooms that make up a home. Drinkers can sit around a bathtub, bed and hob or on a toilet or enjoy a beer with your feet in a sandpit. The bar itself has been made into a map of Newcastle which features an illuminated River Tyne. Regular music on play at most times. A second Mad House bar is open on Dean Street, Newcastle in the Quayside area. Disabled access to main bar good with the toilets at the rear of the pub. Toilets are small and clean.
