Popular pub in the South Gosforth area that has 2 rooms with a separate
lounge and bar.
There is plenty of seating throughout with the emphasis on providing reasonably
priced meals throughout the day.
The bar area features live sports including football matches on widescreen
TV's.
The lounge area accepts families with children under 18 allowed up until 9pm. The pub has a warm inviting
feel to it with a roaring fire in one corner and windows to the front that make it light and airy.
There is a door to the front and side that leads to a small beer garden that is open in fine weather. A small car
park is located next to the beer garden.
The pub is frequented by a mixed crowd of locals, families dining in the lounge area and students. It
is busy at most times so get there early to ensure a table. Children friendly.
Disabled access is very good with a designated disabled toilet next to the side entrance. Toilets are small & clean
