Large new bar that is comprised of 2 floors.
The bar was formerly known as Zinc and is the warm up bar for Digital next door.
The decor is a throwback to days gone by with most of the fixtures
from the 50's/60's. The bar looks like my mothers old front room with portraits and flying ducks on
wood panelled walls.
There is a rectangular bar with chandelier lighting throughout and a tiled floor. The dark subdued lighting gives the place a cosy and intimate atmosphere. There is plenty of
seating with a mixture of settees and armchairs.
Upstairs there is a further bar with a
terrace area. Regular music is on play at most times with live music events on certain nights.
There is a large outside seating area with umbrellas that
is used in fine weather. The bar attracts a mixed crowd of people visiting the other bars in the Centre for Life area as well
as business people and tourists by day. It is busy on most nights but can be a little quieter during the day.
Parties and functions can be arranged.
Disabled access is very good with a disabled toilet at the rear of the bar.
toilets are smart and clean.
