Beers: John Smith's, Carling Extra Cold, Fosters, Kronenbourg 1664, Stella Artois and Guinness on tap. An excellent range of real ales and guest beers including Mordue, Adnams, Greene King and Bombardier. Woodpecker & Bulmers cider also available. There is also a good range of bottled beers, spirits, wines and a selection of malt whiskies on offer.

Meals: Food served Monday - Saturday from noon - 3pm. Sunday Lunch from 12pm - 5pm £7.45 (kids menu £4.95). Good Pub Food served from a value for money menu with an 8oz Rump Steak only £3.95. Tea, coffee & hot chocolate available.

Live Sports: Live Sports are shown with live premiership football shown on a big screen and widescreen TV's througout the bar.

Large traditional corner pub from the Leopard Leisure chain that was formerly known as Ye Olde Jockey and more recently Northern Lights.

The pub has two entrances to the front and side with a long rectangular bar. There is plenty of seating throughout with high tables and chairs and low seating.

There are some booths along the window for groups.

Regular music is on play with a juke box situated next to the bar.

A Karaoke night is held every Sunday with cash prizes on offer.

Quiz night every Thursday from 8pm. The pub is popular at most times of the day and attracts mainly a student crowd, locals and Gosforth revellers.

Disabled access to the main bar is very good with a designated disabled toilet. Toilets are small and clean.
