Review:

Large traditional corner pub that was formerly known as Ye Olde Jockey and more recently Northern Lights. The pub has two entrances to the front and side with a long rectangular bar. There is plenty of seating throughout with high tables and chairs and low seating. There are some booths along the window for groups.

Regular music is on play with a juke box situated next to the bar. A Karaoke night is held every Sunday with cash prizes on offer. Live Sports are shown with live premiership football shown on a big screen and widescreen TV's througout the bar. There is a cash Machine located in bar.

The pub is popular at most times of the day and attracts mainly a student crowd, locals and Gosforth revellers.

Disabled access to the main bar is very good with a designated disabled toilet. Toilets are small and clean.

Price: Reasonable.
