Review:

Sports bar that has 3 floors, 120 TV screens, 5 bars a restaurant and a night club. The first floor has a small lounge area with comfortable leather seating and there is plenty of standing space near to the bar with some high chairs and tables. There is a large dining area at the rear with intimate booths.

There is a heavy sporting theme throughout with hundreds of sporting pictures on the walls with numerous signed shirts from sporting celebrities (Roberto Carlos & Fernando Alonso to name a few). The second floor is primarily an American pool lounge with 14 pool tables and table football so you should get a game. There is a further bar and another small lounge area that can be used for private functions/parties.

The ground floor is usually open from 7pm or when the bar is busy and serves as the night club. The bar has spotlighting throughout and is smartly decked out to a high standard. The decor is a mixture of cream colours with wooden panelling and a wooden floor. The bar attracts a mixed clientele of sporting enthusiasts, business people and is popular with the young crowd and students.

There is regular music on play at most times with a resident DJ from 7pm and resident DJ's. Newcastle's biggest pool competition is held monthly on the first Sunday with a cash prize and spot prizes. A party night is held every Monday from 9pm - 3am with special drinks offers. Topless tottie pre match entertainment with pre match specials. The toilets are smart and clean. Disabled access can be difficult as stairs to other levels.

The pub is available for private parties and functions and buffets can be arranged.
