Very popular
modern bar
on two levels.
The bar that was formerly named Huxters and more recently
Stepps has been given a more modern upgrade.
The main bar downstairs has numerous
TV's with a large drop down screen for Live sporting
events. There are a number of TV's also on show showing sport with
even a TV in the toilet,
guaranteeing you do not miss any of the sporting
action.
There is plenty of seating with three leather backed booths
downstairs and a number of high table and chairs and leather settees.
Upstairs there is a small bar that is open till 3pm
every day and also later in the evening. This area has
plenty of seating with tables and chairs for diners and more comfortable leather settees.
The decor is a mixture of brown and cream colours
with spotlighting to the ceiling.
Regular music is on play at most times with a DJ a
regular feature on certain nights. Every Friday & Saturday 7pm - 11pm DJ Gazza with drinks promos and giveaways. The pub is
normally packed at lunchtime with shoppers and
business people. Bookings for party's available. Hire a private sports lounge at £9.95 per person. The bar attracts a
mixed clientele of shoppers, diners and sporting
enthusiasts. It can get
very busy at times especially at lunchtime and at
weekends and is especially busy on match days.
Disabled access can be difficult as steps at the
main entrance. Toilets are small and clean.
Price:
Moderate during
the week. More expensive at the weekend.
