Review:

Medium sized pub in the South Gosforth area that has a range of cask and guest beers available and is listed in The Good Beer Guide 2010.

There is plenty of seating throughout with a range of reasonably priced snacks on offer.

The main bar area features sports including live football matches.

There is a door to the front and side that leads to a small outside seating and smoking area. A small car park is located next to the pub.

The pub is mainly frequented by locals and students. It is busy at most times of the day. Regular music is on play at most times wth Live Music a feature on a Wednesday night. General knowledge quiz held every week from 9pm (entry 50p).

Disabled access is very good with a designated disabled toilet next to the side entrance. Toilets are small & clean

Price: Reasonable.
