Review:
This is one of the most designer bars in
town and everything about the place oozes class.
There are two main entrances with
automated doors that lead into a very large cafe
style pub. The main area has a large semi-circular
bar with an illuminated glass panelled frontage. The bar also
has a marble top and sunken beer pumps. There is a
part white tiled and wooden that offers ample
standing space with plenty of modern seating with
circular tables and chairs. By the window there is
also a more comfortable seating area. There is small
concealed lighting fixtures in the ceiling however
the bar is very bright and airy as there are large
glass windows to the front and side of the pub.
The
decor is predominantly wood panelling with white & purple
colours.
To the left of the main entrance there is a
raised non smoking area with leather settees
and a widescreen TV inset to the wood panelling.
Next to this area is a small room that is
mainly for standing as there are cylindrical type
drums for tables and smart changeable lighting in
the floor. The rear of the bar has a large circular
lounge area with high seating
in the middle and low tables and chairs around the
exterior. There is also a space age type lighting
fixture in the centre. Adjacent to this is a
separate comfortable seating area with a cosy
futuristic enclosed section. A pool table is located opposite to the bar
Regular music is on
play at most times. A DJ is a regular feature on a
most nights. Entertainment 7 days a week includes:
Monday - Karaoke night (£5 voucher for every singer)
Tuesday -
Live music
Wednesday - cool sound sessions with best sounds old and new
Thursday - party night
Friday - Ride the Bull

The
bar attracts an up market clientele of business
people and the young crowd. It is extremely busy at
the weekend with Quayside revellers and can also be
busy throughout the week. Room hire is available for
functions including buffets. A link cash machine is
available.
Disabled access is very
good with the bar all on the one level. Toilets are
immaculately clean with metallic fitments.
