The Gate Lloyd's no 1 bar that is a must visit in the Gate scene. Exceptionally good value for food and drinks. Popular venue in the Gate.

Historical Newcastle pub located in the heart of the Bigg Market, which still retains its olde worlde charm.
The Duke of Wellington Bigg Market A gem of a real ale pub with an excellent choice of beers. Has a nice cosy atmosphere which tends to make it busy most times of the day.
Union Rooms Central Station One of the most reasonably priced bars in town. All sorts of beer and drinks promotions on offer and a selection of meals served all day.
Bridge Hotel
Central Station A good venue for Live music and a nice bar to relax and enjoy a pint of real ale. Affords spectacular views of the Tyne Bridge and Quayside from the terraced area.
The Quayside Quayside One of the most pleasant pubs on the Quayside that has the lowest prices around on drinks and meals. What more can you say!
