Newcastle International Airport is a main station for the Metro. The station is linked by a covered walkway directly from the terminal building. The journey takes around 23 minutes to Newcastle Central Station and trains run up to every 7 minutes.

Single tickets are available all times of day for single journeys and are valid for 90 minutes from the time of purchase.

Return tickets are valid all times of the day. The price of a return ticket is reduced after 09.00am on weekdays and all days at weekends and public holidays.
