Basement cocktail bar in the Bigg Market that opened on 29th November 2019, located below the Old George Inn.
The bar serves a range of cocktails and wines - table service is available every night of the weekend. Booths area available for around 10 to 12 people, located in the main bar area. Great for a small party or intimate gathering. The Hideout is the largest space for up to 40 people, situated at the rear of the bar with comfortable banquette seating, cosy chairs and plush stools. This area offers the perfect space for a private party or event. A comfortable raised area in the main bar area is suitable for around 5-8 people. The Stage has a small table and comfy seating, great for a small gathering or party. Regular music on play at most times. Mother Mercy ‘Cocktail Container’ is now also located in By The River Brew Co's HWKR's Market on the Quayside every weekend 3pm - 11pm with a Sunset Spritz Terrace.
