Sports pub which is the sister to The Tanners Arms.
The pub which is very close to St James Park Football ground was previously known as The Black Bull and more recently The Black and White Bull. The pub is popular with locals and can get very busy on match days, being close to the football ground. Regular music is on play at most times. Pub Quiz every Thursday from 7pm. Live sports including premier league football Sky and TNT Sports and England football and Six Nations rugby matches are shown on widescreen TV's throughout the bar. A small beer garden is located at the rear of the pub. Disabled access is good with the pub all on the one level. Toilets are small and reasonable. Price: Moderate. |
