Traditional Newcastle pub that has had a full revamp with a change of name from the Star Inn to The Geordie Star.
The pub is decked out with everything Newcastle with a Bobby Robson corner. Regular music is on play with a juke box located in the centre of the pub. Live Music and a DJ is a regular feature on a Friday, Saturday & Sunday evening with an advert for forthcoming bands displayed in the bar. All sporting events with live football and six nations rugby are featured on a large drop down screen and several TV's throughout the pub. Disabled access is very good with the pub all on the one level. The toilets that can be accessed either side of the bar are small and clean. Price: Reasonable. |
