Cocktail bar that is described as a unique bar experience being funky, quirky and full of surprises.
There is plenty of seating throughout with tables and chairs. Formerly a vegan cafe 'Junk It Up' the place is decked out like a home with a twist, featuring quirky seating areas inspired by the different rooms that make up a home. Drinkers can sit around a bathtub, bed and hob or on a toilet or enjoy a beer with your feet in a sandpit. The bar itself has been made into a map of Newcastle which features an illuminated River Tyne. Regular music on play at most times. A second Mad House bar is now open on Dean Street, Newcastle.
