The pub has a long bar with a fine range of cask beers, gins and homecooked food. There is plenty of seating throughout for diners and drinkers. The decor is is of a traditional style with old pictures adorning the walls. Regular music is on play at most times. The pub is popular with locals and students and can get busy especially in the evening and on the weekend. Outside the pub to the left of the main entrance there is a small beer garden with wooden tables and benches. Quiz night every Thursday from 8pm - £1.00 entry with prizes available. Disabled access to main bar very good. Toilets are small and clean. Price: Moderate. |
