Traditional Newcastle pub which dates back to the early 1800's.
The pub has 2 entrances to the front and one at the rear from the small car park. There is 3 rooms set out over 2 floors with plenty of seating throughout. The decor is of a traditional style with chandelier lighting and drop down lights over the bar and a part carpeted/ wooden floor. There are large windows to the front and side that make the bar bright and airy by day. Bobicks live music venue which has 60 seats is located upstairs on the first floor. An outside seating area to the rear of the pub is open in fine weather. Children welcome. Disabled access is good with the pub all on the one level. Toilets are small and clean Price: Moderate. |
