The toilets had lain dormant for several years but have now been totally transformed into a subterranean wine bar. Originally opened in 1898 as a toilet the bar has a small bar and a limited amount of seating. The bar has been decked out stylishly with a chandelier and large glass roof that provides light throughout the day. The emphasis is providing the customer with a glass of wine or cocktail and will a boost to the Bigg Market scene. Tables can be booked online on the bars own website. Disabled access is difficult as bar is accessed down a flight of stairs. Toilets are small and clean. Price: Moderate. |
