More info to follow soon. 25/09/25 - THE GOLDEN FLAKE TAVERN the first-ever pub from Greggs will open on at Fenwicks, Newcastle from the 27th September 2025. Open daily from 11am until 7pm the new pub will be serving up Greggs food with Greggs-inspired beers, available on draft including Pink Jammie IPA and Gosforth 1939 Stottie Lager from local brewer Full Circle Brew Co. 25/09/25 - WETHERSPOON PUBS are holding an Autumn Beer Festival from Wednesday 1st October - Sunday 12th October with up to 30 real ales. The overseas brewers are from Australia, India, France and two from the USA. It is the first time the festival has featured a real ale from India and France. 26 of the festival beers will be new to Wetherspoon. 16/09/25 - FLIGHT CLUB a new cocktail/ social darts bar will be opening on Friday 7th November located on Nelson Street/Eldon Square. The gin bar is reputed to be the smallest in the UK measuring 11 suare metres. 03/02/22 - BOB TROLLOP AND OFFSHORE 44 2 bars return to the Quayside after being part of the Red House for the last few years. 11/12/21 - CROWN POSADA one of the oldest bars in Newcastle is now back open from 9th December 2021 after being closed since the first lockdown in March 2020. 11/12/21 - ZEROX will be re-opening on 18th December in a new location on the Quayside under the old Waterside Hotel. This opening on Friday 18th December is the unveiling of all new Zerox phase 1 ('The Midtown' Bar) and then phase 2 ('The Uptown Live Room') and phase 3 ('The Downtown Food Joint') will follow in the coming months.
